Russian soldiers in World War II uniforms attend a military parade at the Red Square in Moscow on Nov. 7, 2010 to mark the 69th anniversary of the legendary military parade in 1941. The Nov. 7, 1941 parade commemorating the 24th anniversary of the victory of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution was held after Russia joined World War II and aimed to raise morale as Nazi German forces approached Moscow.
