Collapse of Western-Backed Dictatorial Regime of Muammar Gaddafi, Imminent
The crews of two Libyan warships have mutinied. They are refusing to obey Muammar Gaddafi's orders to attack the eastern port city of Benghazi.
Hamsayeh.Net - Libya’s Western backed dictator Muammar Gaddafi promised to fight until the end die as a martyr on Libyan soil during his latest televised addressed on Tuesday evening.
The controversial Libyan dictator apparently seeing the ongoing popular uprising from his own Bedouin clan’s point of view says the rest of the country’s people are bunch of tugs seeking to overthrow his supposed democratic regime and establish an Islamic emirate in Libya.
Although more and more government officials have resigned or joined the protesters, the Libyan dictator says he is ready to use extreme force against Libyans if they continue to disobey his orders. Gaddafi has been in power for more 40 years, receiving security assurances from Western military-corporate establishment in return for a steady supply of oil.
Throughout these years a vast majority of Libyans have suffered from social, cultural and economic discrepancies at the expense of Gaddafi and his immediate family’s widespread corruptions. Unemployment in Libya and other North African countries have jumped to nearly 40 percent with many skilled college graduates unable to find jobs and build themselves a better future.
In the last 24 hours crews of two Libyan warships have taken over control of the ships after they refused orders to shoot at demonstrators in the coastal town of Bengazi. The crew said they would join the demonstrators on the streets. Other Libyan officials and ambassadors to other countries also resigned in the past several days. The Warfalla tribe, the largest in the country, has also joined calls from other tribes for Gaddafi to step down.
The dictatorial regime is now close to its final collapse. British Foreign Minister William Hague said the situation in Libya is extremely critical. ‘Many indications of the structure of the state collapsing in Libya, the resignation of so many ambassadors and diplomats, reports of ministers changing sides within Libya itself, shows the system is in a very serious crisis,’ Hague said.
Massive protests across the Muslim World have taken place simultaneously in Tunis, Libya, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain and Yemen with people calling for democracy, an end to US-Zionist alliance’s meddling, ouster of Western-backed dictatorial regimes and greater cooperation among Muslin countries in Middle East and North Africa.
Analysts believe that continuation of protests in the region will ultimately reach Saudi Arabia, which would then deal the last major blow to western military-financial establishment currently tittering on the verge of bankruptcy.
